Why use permeable block paving ?
Permeable blocks are great for most areas as long as the soil beneath drains away. The blocks are hard wearing and there wouldn't be any surface water.
What is permeable block paving?
Block paving that lets rain water drain between the blocks into the permeable subbase beneath. The water then soaks away into the ground. This system is SUDs compliant and typically doesn't need planning permission. We tend to use Marshalls Tegula Priora for our permeable block paved driveways.
