The most important question I ask my clients is ‘how are you going to use your new garden?’
We will talk through your desires, wants and dreams. What are your interests? Out door cooking, bar, Swimming pools, water features, Koi pond, kids playing /Football pitch . What styles you like, have you seen anything that has really impressed you and would like to copy. Also what are your requirements. Any concerns that you want answered. We want to build your garden that works in harmony with you and your family. It works best if all the decision makers are present for this consultation.
We will also have an open and honest conversation about the costs involved. This is very important for the design process. Over the years I have had many people phone us up to say that they have already had their garden designed but the designer never asked about the budget. As a result they spent a lot of money on a design for a garden that will never be built. It is for this reason we would like to know your budget. I know this is strange for some but it makes our process smoother.

Most overall budgets for gardens in Essex and North London are £25000 to £60000 for small gardens, £50000 to £150000 for medium gardens and £75000 to £500000 for large gardens. A garden designed and built within a given budget equals happy clients
I learnt the hard way. I had an architect design my house. It looked amazing. I was blown away with the plans. The down side was the cost to build the house was far more than I had, so I had to pay for another design to be done that was more within my budget. Lesson learnt.
At this point I will discuss the design fee
The design fee starts at £1500 for a 2D garden design, £900 for a driveway design and the 3Ddesign package starting at £2800. This depends on the complexity and size of the garden
Site survey
The existing garden is surveyed and measured,.
When in the garden we will ask questions like; where would you like to sit? What features of the garden do you want to keep? Do you want to screen the neighbours? etc The surveys
are then taken back so the fun can start.
Concept plans
After taking all the information provided we come up with a concept for your garden. We will talk through the ideas with you based on your requirements and budget.
Final plans
The concept plan in turned into the Finalised Garden design plan and 3d renders and a video walk through. Most people find it really important to see what their garden is going to look like before the construction starts
